 The Minister of Higher Education approves the establishment of a higher institute for applied health sciences in Sherbeen

 
 Shiha: joining the institute through the coordination office in accordance with the rules of the highest universities
 
 Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, issued a decision approving the establishment of the Higher Technological Institute for Applied Health Sciences in Sherbeen, which is affiliated with the Liver Patient Care Association in Dakahlia.
 
 His Excellency the Minister explained that the study at the institute begins with the new academic year and the implementation of the plans and curricula approved by the Applied Health Sciences Institutes Sector Committee.
 
 For his part, Dr. Gamal Shiha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association and the Higher Technological Institute for Applied Health Sciences in Sherbeen, confirmed that the institute was established and equipped according to the latest international equipment to prepare graduates who are able to absorb technical developments in the field of health to serve the Egyptian health system in its various disciplines, noting that the study at the Institute is divided into  It is divided into three divisions: the Medical Laboratories Division, the Radiology and Medical Imaging Division, the Medical Equipment Maintenance Division.
 
 Shiha also made it clear that graduates of the institute will obtain a health technical diploma in one of the academic divisions that the student studies at the institute, and the duration of study in it is two academic years in addition to the compulsory training period “excellence” for a period of six months, and a specialized technical diploma in one of the divisions he studies  The student at the institute, and the study period is two academic years.
 
 The health technical diploma and the specialized technical diploma are equivalent to a technical bachelor's degree approved by the Supreme Council of Universities.
 
 Dr. Jamal Shiha concluded, explaining that the application for admission to the institute is through the Coordination Office for University Admission in accordance with the rules and regulations set by the Supreme Council of Universities, provided that the student has a high school certificate, a science division, to join the two divisions of medical laboratories, radiology and medical imaging, or a sports science division
 
 To join the Medical Devices Maintenance Division, students who have obtained an industrial technical high school may join the Medical Devices Maintenance Division
